• Diploma Types: Louisiana public school students have two diploma options: the TOPS University Diploma or the TOPS Tech Jumpstart Diploma.
• Course Requirements: Each diploma has certain course requirements that need to be passed in order to graduate.
• Credentials: Students on the track to earning a TOPS Tech Jumpstart Diploma must choose a pathway and earn a credential appropriate to that pathway.
• LEAP 2025: In addition to coursework, students must also pass all state required LEAP 2025 assessments.
• ACT/WorkKeys: All CHS students take the ACT test during the school day in their junior year. Students on the Jump Start diploma track also take the WorkKeys assessment that tests career readiness.
