Mrs. Jill Schofield
Jill Schofield is entering her twenty-third year as an educator at Chalmette High School. A graduate of CHS, Mrs. Schofield spent her first year as a librarian and 13 years as an English teacher; she is currently entering her ninth year as an Instructional Coach.
Mrs. Schofield earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. In her years as an English teacher, she was chosen as St. Bernard Parish New Teacher of the Year as well as Chalmette High School Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Schofield has been a LaTAAP mentor, a cooperating teacher for the UNO Internship Program, and a certified NIET teacher evaluator.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Ms. Crystal Davis
Ms. Crystal Davis is in her 16th year in Education and her 3rd year as an Instruction Coach. She is a native of New Orleans and a graduate of St. Mary's Dominican High School. She earned a General Studies degree from Louisiana State University with minors in Business, English, and Political Science. She completed the Alternative Teacher’s Certification Program at Our Lady of Holy Cross College and is certified to teach grades 6-12 Math and History. She holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.
During her time in the classroom, she transformed her classes into intriguing, exciting, and interactive places for learning real-life mathematical skills. She is constantly researching best mathematical practices, retention strategies, and building thinking classrooms to effectively help teachers create engaging classrooms where thinking and learning take place.
Ms. Davis lives in Chalmette with her awesome son and two incredibly sweet pups.

Ms. Melissa Moynan
Melissa Moynan is an experienced educator with a remarkable 18-year tenure at Chalmette High School. Throughout her career, she has taught a diverse range of subjects, including AP Psychology, Civics, and Fine Arts Survey, honing her expertise in multiple disciplines.
One of Melissa's notable achievements is the establishment of the esteemed Pre-Educator program, a source of great pride for her. This program offers valuable guidance and mentorship to aspiring educators, empowering them to pursue their goals with confidence and encouraging them to come back and teach in our school system.
Melissa's commitment extends beyond the classroom. She has actively contributed as a member of the School Improvement Team (SIT) and fulfilled the role of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) coordinator, recognizing and rewarding students for their academic achievements and contributions to the school and larger community.
With enthusiasm, Melissa embraces her new role as a science and social studies instructional coach, sharing her expertise and experiences with fellow educators. She holds a master's degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education, enhancing her ability to support and guide teachers in their professional growth.
During her leisure time, Melissa explores the culinary wonders of New Orleans and cherishes quality moments with her young daughter.
